How to build a ring modulator?
Hi guys, I am new to Max/MSP. I have a little bit of knowledge about how Reaktor 5 works but nearly no knowledge of Max/MSP and I want to get to learn how to use it. I was wondering if anybody could explain to me how to build a ring modulator in Max/MSP? Thank you. :)

[*~ ] is very simple, but a good start.
Note that both signals must have a good sound level, or the result will
have a low volume.

Choose the right car based on your needs. Check out Yahoo! Autos new Car Finder tool.

Also note that you'll probably want to use killdc~ (from
maxobjects.com) on the input source to remove any dc artifacts before
modulation. Otherwise, you'll get the annoying modulator always on
syndrome. You might find a noise gate useful. omx.comp~ has a noise
gate built into it.
One other object that's definitely worth checking out is freqshift~.
With it, you can get separate the positive or negative sidebands.
