I am using pattrstorage in a patch where I'm gonna be needing a lot of saving slots, now how do I keep track of what's saved so I know how many saved slots are used and also so that I don't erase something I'd like to keep because I'm not sure if I have to send "store 17" or "store 18" as a message?

I know I can check the json file but I find it not very practical and I wonder if there is some easier way
