How to disable side toolbars (in Presentation Mode)?
Didn't find it, but is it possible to disable the four toolbars around the patcher to slide in when we hover on the edges? Maybe [thispatcher] commands?
Use case: a patch to be used in Presentation Mode, but I would like to not see the toolbars pop in-out when I'm in Presentation Mode.
Hi,. what you do is right click in the patcher window and select inspector from the context menu. A different inspector window opens than if you select the patcher object and inspect it. You have to click INSIDE the patcher and right click and open the inspector window. then it lets you change the toolbar settings for that patcher window.
Hmm, I'm not sure I'm following. Which options do you set to get the toolbars to not slide in when hovering with the mouse close to the edges? When I choose "unpin", then go to Presentation mode, Locked patcher, the toolbars still slide in when my mouse is close to the edges...
I think you mean the Patcher Inspector, the same that you get with the Shift-Cmd-I shortcut. Maybe I'm missing something...?
When they are unpinned, they still slide in. You have to set not to show them at all. It does not distinguish between patching and presentation mode, and there is no simple way to do so programmatically.
I see, the option "Show Toolbars..."
No super flexible, indeed. Thanks.
