how to get ride of click in audio
Max Patch
Copy patch and select New From Clipboard in Max.
Hi, I am new to max. I have been having problem with using audio and having clicks, I been told buffer help, but I am not sure if what I have done is right. Also am not sure if I have to uses a line object? Thanks Wendy
Be sure to look at the MSP Tutorials #13 and #14 for information about using groove and looping playback. Yes, you need a buffer to hold the audio file in RAM memory while groove accesses it. As for the clicks, that may be a result of your loop. Look in your Max application folder for an abstraction called grooveduck. That applies a little envelope to the loop to help smooth the sound of the loop point.
