How to increase a number box every minute in max 4.6?
I have a number box which is controlling the frequency of a sine wave (cycle`) and i was wondering if there was a way in which i could get it to automatically increase by one every minute.

Something like this?
clocker might also be useful depending on what you are doing. rather than a bang, it gives you elapsed time.
also, since you asked for max4.6 and the other post is in max5, all it does is connect a metro set to 60000 to a message box "inc" connected to an incdec connected to your numberbox.
thanks for the reply but i can't make out what you wrote, this is what it says on your post
maybe its the computer im on, il check it on my pc when i get home. thanks anyway.
whats an incdec?
incdec = increment decrement
make a new object and type incdec then go to the helpfile to see how it works.
btw, what you couldn't make out is max5 code. if you had max5 you would copy that and paste it into an empty max window...
thanks man, worked like a charm!
Sorry, I missed the 4.6 part in your post. Here's the same patch in Max 4.6. As MIB described, copy the text below and paste it into an empty patcher window in Max 4.6. The gibberish-looking text in my earlier post is the new compressed text format of Max 5.
