How to load a Native Instruments Reaktor .ens ensemble into a vst~ as a plugin?

Hello as the title suggests, I have read I can load reaktor ensembles into max and manage them as I would in a DAW like Live or Logic. Am I expecting to see the Reaktor instruments as windows in the max patcher or not?

If not, is the expectation to send it OSC messages by way of algorithmic music design? I've got OSC messages arriving OK at a test ensemble in Reaktor stand-alone, so wondering what the benefit is of using Reaktor components as AU plugins is other than apparently saving all the settings. Would that happen if I had a setup like that in a max patcher?
