HOw to? RECEIVE CC messages in MAX

Greetings.. I have created a max4Live patch so that I can modulate the parameters of a MIDI synth using CC messages. So far I have been successful in sending OUT CC's, but would now like to RECEIVE them from the synth. There is a feature on the synth that allows for a CC 'dump' which sends the info out via MIDI. What I am wondering is how can I get the MAX patch to receive and update all these parameters one the DUMP feature is activated?

To receive multiple CCs you can use multiple [ctlin] objects with controller number as argument.

Hi I know its been a long time since I originally posted this (had to update all my DAW and what not). Anyways, I am still hoping to do this. I am kind of illeterate when it comes to max. could you post an example of how i might go about doing this?

One thing id like to do is send the information via clip in ABleton or directly from my hardware synth (I have a synth that will export all parameters of a patch via CC on a midi channel). Presently I can send these values form the synth to Ableton and record them in a clip. It would be cool to send the info from the clip to the max device , or directly from the synth.
