Q: How can I recreate Ableton Push "duplicate" functionality with another controller in Ableton Live?

Hold my own set up "duplicate" button -> select clip slot to copy a clip by pushing the connected triggerbutton on controller -> select clip slot to paste by pushing the connected triggerbutton on controller -> release "duplicate" button deactivate "duplicate" mode.

I have ordered a Monome grid, and want to implement this functionality in my setup for this device, adding to Mark Eats Clips great patch https://github.com/markwheeler/mark-eats-clips .
