How to unlink a vst~ to from lives transport?

hello guys,
first of all, i have to say that i am new to this forum and relatively new to max programming. in the past i only messed around with reaktor but i am slowly making my way through the built-in tutorials for a few weeks now.

well, i am having a hard time telling the maschine (or any other) vst plugin to run synced to a transport other than lives master transport. i thought this could be achieved by using the @name attribute but i didnt find any documetation on how to use it properly so i just tried a bit with no success. could someone please tell me the way to do it?

what i basically wanna do is syncing maschine to its own transport which again is synced to lives master transport but could be modulated by a table to offset its playing position based on various patterns. this way i could easily create interesting remix effects on the fly, like turning a straight beat into a break or a fill-in with a single button press, much like the remix feature in reaktors "limelite" drum machine (if anyone is familiar with it). especcially useful when performing live...
the new midi shuffler effect for max for live does a similar task but with a quite different approach which i cant use for maschine (recording notes and then rearranging them to create those remix effects), so i have to go for position remixing.

i hope i explained myself somewhat clear. any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks in advance! :)

cheers, jens

I'm interested if this is possible too!

I've been able to detach use a Bidule module running a vst and unlink the vst's tempo from Ableton.

I haven't figured out or seen anyway try a workaround for this in M4L

Anyone have any ideas?
