How to unselect all items in a live.tab object?

Hi everyone,
I would like to be able to unselect all items in a live.tab object.
I can't figure out if there is a way to achieve that.
I tried to send -1 in the live.tab inlet.
But unlike the default tab object, it doesn't work.

Any tip?
I hope this is possible.

There is not a way to do that for the live.tab object (although you can do so with the regular tab object). It is possible that this could have something to do with initial states of the object (which matters much more with live.* objects than ordinary Max ones.

I'd suggest you substitute the tab object as a workaround, for now.

Thank you very much for your answer Gregory.

Unfortunately, the tab object really lacks color settings for what I'm trying to do:
- no border color for on/off states
- only one text color setting for off state

I must confess that coming from web design, I'm really struggling with the inconsistency of background, border and text settings across a lot of Max UI object (button, tab,…). It looks like there's no clear pattern for the different states (on/off/hover).

Anyway, thanks again.
