I need help with the [flush] object
I am looking for help with the [flush] object. I am ultimately trying to avoid a polyphonic sound coming out of my sampler. Right now I am simply trying to test the [flush] object by connecting [makenote] to the in-ports of [flush] and then the out-ports of [flush] to the in-ports of [noteout]. For some reason a signal never makes it to the [noteout]. My set up is virtually identical to the one in the max for live tutorial that first introduces [flush]. I feel like I am missing something very simple here, can anyone help me? While I am here, what is the difference between [flush] and [midiflush]?
Hi,
Please post a patch demonstrating your problem, it is always more efficient to do so ;-)

Hi
A quick check of the help files will sort this one.
Check what 'makenote' is actually doing - what does it send . .
Open flush and midiflush and look at them (1)- check help and reference - what do they receive . .
Also check what stripnote does, if you are using it . . .
Please continue to experiment but also remember use the help files . . .
This will be more helpful then explaining - You will learn and understand better if you do it yourself . .
Cheers
