On my Mac I have been trying to set my IAC driver settings to communicate via mutliple channels on IAC Bus 1 (through Audio/Midi set up options) the channel's up and down arrows are greyed out meaning I am only able to set up IAC to run on default channel 1 .

Im pretty sure in Audio/MIDI you just create the standard IAC Bus with all 16 channels. then in the applictions your using you specify channels.

In the Audio/midi I CAN NOT CREATE 16 channels , this option is greyed out and I am stuck with the default 1 channel

But IAC will just send midi bytes, the channels are embedded in Midi. 

"You only need one IAC..." - yes only one BUS is needed

"the channels are embedded in Midi" hmm OK so why am I only sending data on one channel ?????

Here is a quick JPEG , if someone can let me know if this normal for IAC config !!

I am just trying to do a very simple patcher in order to control automation within plug ins whithin Live , but I can only control on channel one !! (the IAC select is done by unlocking the patch )
