ICST ambiasonics how to add reverb?

I simply want to add reverb to the surround panning capabilities of ambiasonics, I thought it might work alongside the same distance parameter thats controlling the air diffusion in some of the examples. But im stumped at the moment as to how to get it to work left and right, up and down. has anyone done this successfully?

there has been talk of working towards an ambisonic reverb at the
ICST. suffice to say that this isn't a trivial undertaking.

dave malham of york put up a sourceforge project for the reflector, a
reflections only roomsimulation in the ambisonics domain which was
originally sponsored by the ICST.
http://sourceforge.net/projects/thereflector/
the results are available as vst-plugins from what i can see.

see also this page on the ambisonia forum:
http://www.ambisonia.com/forum/showthread.php?p=34

and talking of ambisonics reverb in general: people have been known
to add normal reverberated signals to phantom sources in the
ambisonic domain for localized reverb and injected reverberated
signals into the W-component (omnidirectional component) for diffuse
reverb tails.

Hi,

it's not for Max/Msp (it's for Supercollider ) but I think you could
look at VirtualRoom by IEM here:

All the best

actually I have spat, and I used to use it alot, but I dont' like the interface, and I wish I could have something nice looking and functional in my 1 screen performance patch. I love the GUI of ambiasonics, and the functionality, the only place it falls short is reverb (and the air diffusion is kindof cheap). Is there a way I can use the ambiasonics GUI for xyz placement of SPAT?
