Image-to-Sound (à la Aphex Twin's "Equation")

    Hi All,
Just thought I'd share this patch. It converts images to sound which can then be viewed with a spectrogram.
It's just a quick patch and needs a bit of work, but I thought it might provided a useful starting point for those interested in the subject. I used Baz's PAD 28 tutorial on youtube as a foundation.
You'll need to stick with fairly small images (max width/height of around 500px) and play with the variables to get anything usable (free of artefacts etc).

      Hi Kris,
It should be a matter of simply pressing the button under 'initialise'. Alternatively, just save the patch to your hard drive and reload it ('loadbang' should initialise everything).
Then you just need to import your image using the “i” button and press play (>) or record (®). Remember to use a small image as suggested above.
Just a side note – it's best to reload the patch each time you want to import a new image.
Let me know if you have any problems.
