How are you doing it currently? Maybe post a simple patch?

However you are doing it, it's likely that adding @adapt 1 will help you.

Hello

I am having the same problem Aja26. I have tried using [jit.qt.movie @adapt 1] into a jit.pwindow and reading in a photo but the image is still pixelated.

The photo opens up nice and clearly using preview but not in max

I have also tried fpic - same pix-elated image

Any ideas

as mentioned in the first reply, post a simple patch showing how you're doing it, and we can help you figure it out.

Attached is a patch. I have managed to get it working fairly well. My image is 4239 X 3241 - huge!

I can re-size the Jit.pwindow to about 755 X 615 and it works quite well.

But I want it smaller

One workaround I found was to open the original image in preview or some other image viewer then just command (-ve)to make the image smaller then just take a screen shot of it as a smaller image [shift command 4]
then import this into max

its still a bit blurry but this is to be expected when downsizing.
