I would really like to use OSC-route released by http://cnmat.berkeley.edu/downloads in MAX in Ableton. The reason for this is that I want to send OSC messages from an external program into max.

 but this did not work. Is the OSC-route external only for Mac machines? If so does anyone know of an alternative to OSC-route? I cannot find any installation instructions anywhere so it would be great if someone have some experience with this external.
