instant crash with Max 6.1.6

Hi there,

I just installed Max 6.1.6 (as well as Live 9.1.1 and the latest 9.1.2 beta). When opening a recent project with some M4L devices, it crashes Live instantly and consistently.

I did revert to Max 6.1.5 which did work before, but same problem now (key reason for upgrading were the consistent crashes when opening help files).

Is there any way how I could get back to working on my project (e.g. disabling Max, then remove devices one by one) ?

I also already tried to delete preferences.cfg, repair permissions etc., no change though.
