I personally would not recommend using an intel mac with MaxMSP 4.5.X
and Jitter 1.5.X. While essentially it works under Rosetta, the
performance will not be very good (though probably faster than an
800MHz G4), and you may have audio dropouts/glitches as the code is
runtime compiled. However, perhaps once running for a while, these
glitches would all stop after all relevant code has been runtime
compiled. Might want to send this to the MaxMSP list, since this is
more of an MSP issue. The main features which definitely doesn't work
under Rosetta is mxj and mxj~, otherwise everything else I know of
works (though much slower than native, and the potential audio
Sounds like you can't yet use MaxMSP 4.6 or Jitter 1.6 Universal
Binaries which are the native versions for MacTel, unless you find
MacTel ports for all the objects you use. Even still, wouldn't rely
on these for an installation as it is still in beta.
