IP sniffing for Ipad

I read about sniffing IP's for computer on various posts, but not really for an Ipad. Is there any way to detect an ipad IP address (using lemur) in a similiar fashion that serialOSC does for a monome? Would make life so much easier

Max Patch
Copy patch and select New From Clipboard in Max.

you can get your iPad IP address if you know it's name using mxj net.ip :

If you'r using the Lemur app, it can be even easier :
use the LemurLoader external to find all Lemurs connected to your network.
(LemurLoader is part of the free "Mu" package available at http://liine.net/en/products/lemur/premium/mu/ )

Mathieu,

Thanks so much for the tip....I didn't know about the LemurLoader, that will simplify things a great deal!
