IRCAM spat. controller question

(Edited: Solved), the spat.oper object can read line 0. data so long as you use a prepend object with the correct syntax, which can be found in the spat.positions subpatch buried within the IRCAM example patches.

Hi there, I'm looking for a way to map a line object to the various control parameters found within IRCAM's spat object, so that I can send numerical line data via messages to spat. I would like to be able to say, for example, "increase source 1 distance from 1m to 3m over 3000ms." Is there a way I can do this? Basically I'm looking to trigger 'events' (messages) that in turn automate parameter changes within spat.
