Is 2000 lumen projector bright enough in an event hall (no curtain)?

Acer H6510BD can project at 3000 lumen and its weight is 2.2kg.
BenQ W1070 can project at 2000 lumen, its weight is 2.65kg, and has more natural/accurate colour.
I am wondering whether 2000 lumen is bright enough in an event hall (no curtain), for the purpose of audiovisual live performance.

Many thanks for your help in advance,
Masa

I concur. 2000 lumens is ok for medium-close projection in a dark room. In a theater, with other lights onstage, and the projector at the back of the hall, you need way more.

Thank you MJ and Christopher for your insights.
The screen size used at an upcoming performance is 80"x60", and I cannot make the lighting of a large event hall darker.
It seems to be that I should go with Acer H6510BD (3000 lumens), when compared to BenQ W1070 (2000 lumens).
