Hi,

I wasn´t able to find any useful search results on importing point clouds, but is it possible?

I just tried loading that files in [jit.gl.model] and yes it seems to work (at least in Max 9.1.0):

yes this support came with the Max 9 update to jit.gl.model. Eager to hear feedback.

ah, good timing! I haven´t had a look at max 9 yet, but I will check this out. Thanks!

I will let you know how things go.

Your example ply works great, however my ply file is not showing, but no errors, so maybe I need to make some adjustements?

It´s an old fashioned lidar scan with only white points exported from cloud compare. I have attached it in case you have an idea what I would need to do to get it to work.

never mind, I figured it out. The scale of the model was completely off, so now it seems to work!
