I'm creating a patch for audio reactive visuals for my final uni project. I've got my head round all of the basic principles needed to create visuals so am now working on a few experimental patches to see what sort of style visuals i want to create. I came across the minimal style of joanie lemercier so have just been messing around with this style.

i've made this patch that is a just a line moving across the screen and i want to know before i get to deep into it.....is this the most basic way to do what i've done in the patch?.

The problem i have is always doing things and then not checking if the approach i have taken is the most efficient so i end up with patches that hog cpu when they dont need to.......and always with max there is a million and one ways to do anything haha
