Jack Audio Connection Kit Windows 10 + MaxMSP
Hi,
I am trying to use JACK-router as my main driver.
But, Max crashes, or won't start at all when I do this.
Does anybody know what the problem is?
Or How to set up a native Jack connection (bypass JackRouter)

I'm in the same boat. I've open an issue on Jack2 github. Not only Max has problems with Jack. All the Native Instruments standalones and Supercollider server have the same problem.
It seems that Jack-Router was made optional in the latest release because the jack developers know about this problem. Here's a weird thing: I tried it out on two identical Windows 10 PC's
- On one of them it works
- On the other one it does not, and max crashes.
I have no clue what causes this.
For our University VR Cave project, We have a DLL-genious professor trying to resolve the JackRouter.dll issues. Hopefully we will be able to compile a stable version of JackRouter once and for all, and we will commit it to Jack's github page. I will keep you posted.
