Over the past few years I have dipped into Jamoma to look at its features and have always been impressed at the huge amount of work that lies within the package. I can see that from updates that it has not been updated for a while and was wondering if this is due to something that has superseded it?

The MVC architecture seems fantastic and could a really powerful way to work with building new prototypes in Max. Is there a reason that it appears to have been adopted more widely?

most of the devs are now working on the ossia platform (afaik), which is similar to jamoma. in some regards it extends the functionality on the other end some crucial jamoma features didn`t get implemented (presets, ramping, etc...)
