Thanks Jasch! Maybe it's a good idea to update the website to say .zip is for Mac and Windows?
Or better, maybe make a different .zip for Mac and Windows?
thanks,
the website is updated.
I want to keep it as a single package for easy distribution.

Hello Jasch,
I am about to update an old project using your [fscopy] object.
This object seems to have disappeared from the package after version 0.5.
Why is that? Is there a 64bits and ARM version of this objects somewhere?
Or is there a possibility to compile the corresponding code myself?
Or, if all of this is not possible, would you have a recommandation for a replacement?
Thank you for your help,
Benjamin
Hi Benjamin,
How about using the filemanager external as a replacement object? I updated it to 64 intel/ARM recently.
I don't remember the exact reason for abandoning fscopy, but since system calls are involved, porting across OS versions and architecture changes is always a pain. IIRC I decided in 2016 to create filemanager with a new underlying codebase to replace fscopy.
Then there is always the shell external...
hope that helps,

Hello Jasch,
Thank you very much for your prompt answer! Yes, that helps :-)
Then I'll dig both into [filemanager] possibilities and in the old patch to see what is exactly done with [fscopy].
As a developer, I understand perfectly the trouble of OS and architecture portability!
And as this particular project is meant for macOS only, [shell] would also be an option, yes.
Thank's
Benjamin
