Sorry to bring up an old subject - but it seems I'm stuck and need some hints..

On a Mac Air M2, Monterey, Max 8.5.6, I can't seem to convince Max that Java is installed, and that it should run the mxj object.

$JAVA_HOME: /Library/Java/JavaVirtualMachines/jdk-21.jdk/Contents/Home

Test java files compile and run from terminal.
