i was reading somewhere that there are some problems running jazzmutant Lemur with live 9. I haven't really started using live 9, but I would like to start soon. so before starting out, I like to check if i can use MU together with Live9. Any comments?

Use it with LiveControl2 and homemade lemur templates without any problem. Not sure it was the cause but I had to update my ipad 2 from iOS5 to iOS7 to get it connect properly through ad hoc network. MU isn't officially supported for Live 9.
