jit.desktop object

    As I reported earlier, the jit. desktop object, when using the Helpfile for the objects crashes after approx. 1 Minute. This we encountered on Dual and Quadcore Macs with 10.6.8 AND 10.7.2. On 10.5.x with Intel Core Duo it works fine but slow.
    Does anybody know the reason or a Workaround.
    Please let me know if there is a workaround or a bug fix.

      The reason is a bug. The workaround is to use the attached version until the next Max 6 release.

      Dear Jeremy, Thank you for the new object. Unfortunately I get the following error message in the Max Window, when trying this object instead of the former one:
      jit.desktop: unable to load object bundle executable 2011-11-21 23:07:10.801 MaxMSP[190:507] Error loading /Applications/Max5/Cycling '74/jitter-externals/jit.desktop.mxo/Contents/MacOS/jit.desktop: dlopen(/Applications/Max5/Cycling '74/jitter-externals/jit.desktop.mxo/Contents/MacOS/jit.desktop, 262): Sym bol not found: _gensym_tr Referenced from: /Applications/Max5/Cycling '74/jitter-externals/jit.desktop.mxo/Contents/MacOS/jit.desktop Expected in: /Applications/Max5/MaxMSP.app/Contents/Frameworks/MaxAPI.framework/MaxAPI
      I'll give it a try in Max 6 now and see how it works. kind regards

      in max 6 it works fine. The upper error comes in max 5.1.9. Is there a jit.desktop that works in max5 in osx lion. or should i update my version 5 to 5.x? kind regards
