jit.qt.grab and clean aperture (cropping output to 1888x1062)?
hi,
a general question regarding jit.qt.grab: i noticed that when i input a full 1080p signal (coming from a blackmagic card) and record ("write"), the file i get is cropped to 1888x1062. i have seen these numbers before and know it stems from an old analogue hangover in SMPTE 274M called "clean aperture" (chapter e.4). as far as i know this should just be a metadata tag but jit.qt.grab seems to actually crop the image to that.
now, since i work all digital i would like to switch that off so jit.qt.grab uses the full 1920x1080 and does not zoom around in my image. how would i do that? is there an attribute i did not find to change its behaviour...?

May help ?

hey,
i checked a second time and actually i got it wrong, it actually is metadata - the recording (as well as the matrix passed on) is full 1920x1080. the cropping is just the display boundaries of the generated quicktime (which can be changed in qt7 pro/properties/presentation).
thanks still!
