jit.qt.record codec quality problem

Hi again,

I've another problem. The codec quality doesn't seems to affect
anything. Is that normal, or may I need more coffe? I can't see any
difference between the differents qualities, the bitrate is always
the same (seen in quicktime player). The problem is I need to compute
highquality video and it doesn't seems to be the default value of the
quality. Is there any secret message to set that?

Hello,

I've tested the patch on Windows XP with Quicktime 7.04, and it creates the
files, but they are empty.

Hi again,

Finally, I found the source of the problem. It's not related to the
codec quality but to the dimensions. The dimensions used for the
recording source seems always to be the dimensions written as
arguments (even if you change them via the dim message. Hopefully,
the patch is more clear than my explanations. Tutu.mov should be a
lot better (edge more clear) than titi.mov :-)
