jit.textfile bugged ?

hey,
it seems to me that jit.textfile is not working correctly. When i try to erase its content as it was previously filled with a matrix, it doesn't erase the content. When i uncheck then recheck "autoclear", sometime it clears the matrix, sometimes it doesn't.

I also don't get its behaviour:
If I
- open the helppatch of jit.textfile
- press "read dishes.mov, bang"
- doubleclick jit.textfile
-> the opening window is empty

if I "write" to file:
- either its empty (0kb)
- or looks like that in the resulting txt-file:

Both on Max 7.0.1 32bit Win764Bit and Max 7.0 OSX 10.9 32 bit. What I want to achieve:
Generate a textfile in another Software that can be read directly into jit.matrix, therefore I want to see how I have to format it

I also have the same problems as Tobias. I am running Max 7 on Yosemite.

Really, to be able to save a quicktime file as a .txt would be awesome. (I hope I am correct that this is what jit.textfile can be used for...)
