Jitter capture with Blackmagic Intensity Pro 4K

Hi Jitterers...

I've been capturing my Jitter output in a second computer holding a BM Intensity Pro card for several years. Works ok, but is slower than the 1290 X 720 @60 FPS I put out. I purchased the new Blackmagic Intensity Pro 4K card and have been working with it all day, but can't get it to capture the Jitter output. Probably due to the instability of the Jitter frame rate.

Anyone have any luck with the Blackmagic Intensity Pro 4K card and Jitter?

Thanks
Robert

OK. Got this to work very nicely. But it is particular.

I have the Blackmagic Intensity Pro 4K card, just bought it end of July 2015, about $180.
Running MAX 7.0.5.
Using AVF video.
Computer running MAX is a MacBook Pro (Retina, 15-inch, Early 2013), Under OS X Yosemite 10.10.3.

Coming out the mini display port, into the BMI Pro 4K HDMI input in an older home-built PC running Windows 7.
Important: I'm using Blackmagic_Desktop_Video_Windows_10.3.7. I've tried them all, this is the only one that worked for me, including the current 10.4.2.
I'm the video setting I'm using in the Windows BMD control panel tool is HD 720p 60. You can probably use others without a problem, I'm using this because of the way I have my own MAX program set up.

HOWEVER, in the Media Express Preferences, you must match the Project Video Format to whatever you use in the control panel.
AND: You have to use the Capture File Format: AVI 10-bit RGB.

I just spent a solid day getting this combination, which I pass on hoping to save someone else that day (or longer). You may find additional settings that will work fine for you, but this is the only one that I found works for me. However; it does a nice job.

Good luck,
Robert
