Jitter for youtube VR render.

Hi! I have the jitter patch that let me offline render 3d scene into regular full hd movie. I'm trying to underrstand what I have to do to render it in stereo 360 vr video format for youtube vr. Am I right that it is not possible with regular gl cameras? Is there is any object that can capture full 360 video frames? If you had experience rendering 360 video content for youtube vr or something like this, please share what is common workflow is about. Thanks!

i don't have any experience with this, but Graham's post here provides a solution for rendering a Jitter-GL scene to an 360 equirectangular texture (is that the format youtube uses? [edit - it appears so] )

here's a slightly modified version of that patch that adds a bit of the gl.multiple help file as scene contents, and shows how you can capture this out to a video file.

Thank you, Rob! I'm checking Graham's post. Last sentence of your answer makes me think you want to upload the patch, but it is have not been attached for some reason
