Jitter Full screen problem
Hi folks
i was using jitter at a show on Saturday with a Proxima 450 [1600x1200] screen size and could not for the life of me get it to go fullscreen.
1.) Dragged the jit.window over to the projector 'screen'
2.) Hit "Esc" key
3.) Fullscreen did not fill up the entire screen, it was closer to looking like 1024x854 full which was the full size of my power book.
changing the resolution in Display preferences did not fix it.
There was no time to reboot and i could have missed something simple, but is there a way i can assure that it won't bite me again by hard coding stuff in there? I own the proxima [4500 lumens] and want it to be full if possible.
I will of course be testing it before the next show but wanted to put this out there for some reactions/suggestions
cheers~
pat
Try sending jit.window the message "rect 1024 0 2624 1200", i.e.' your second display's coordinates.

hi Pat,
the c450, which I assume you are talking about, only supports emulated
UXGA. Its actual output will be xga, so I guess my question is whether
or not it would be smarter to go with the native true XGA resolution,
which happens to also be very close to your laptop resoluton? That would
avoid the problems you've been having, I reckon? It would presumably
also provide you with some more FPS, no?
Andreas.

thanks Dan and Andreas for your replies
i will try both and see what happens
i am not firmly attached to the resolution
so i will try it at the Native first
