Jitter vs Cyclops

    Jun 12 2006 | 3:18 pm
I'm working on a project that requires me to track people in a room using computer vision. I am going to be attempting to identify specific arm/hand gestures as well as location. I currently own a copy of Max/MSP but I do not have Jitter or Cyclops. Can anyone tell me which would be most appropriate for what I am doing? I will not be outputting any video for this project.
From what I can tell you do not need to buy Jitter to use Cyclops. Is that correct? If anyone has used Cyclops and can vouch for its usefullness in completing these types of tasks I'd like to get your feedback.
    Thanks,
    Aaron

Those are all great options, and there are demo
versions for all of them. The all vary in terms of
cost and complexity, so perhaps doing a little
downloading and messing around with the
      patch stuff would be worthwhile.
