jit.vis.face multiple faces sort & order
I'm using the jit.vis.face object in Max to track multiple faces. The Apple engine tracks up to 4 faces, but the web engine seems to track only 1 at a time — it picks the leftmost face on the x-axis first, even when there's a larger face to the right. I'd like more control here, like cv.jit's blob.sort: order by position or pick the largest face. Also, in the Apple engine multiple faces are tracked but the face IDs don't stay stable — with two faces side by side, it keeps flipping between face ID 0 and 1 from left to right.
I'm trying to figure out how what the best way is sort and order the faces ID. I made a javascript with the help of AI which can order and sort in different ways. It works for now, but I can imagine it might be possible in a better/different way, and perhaps it could also be integrated directly into the jit.vis.face object itself.
thanks for the report and sharing your solution! we do have this kind of sticky sorting in the other trackers but it fell through the cracks for face. I'll make a ticket for this and to see if the mediapipe face tracker can support more than a single face.
