I have made a button in Jknobman (2 frames,. lit and unlit). Using Pictctrl I can import the png file of the button and it shows OK in Max7.

The button only blinks, and I want it to stay lit when on, like the led object. How do I get the button to behave so that it stays lit when on

Maybe you need to set the mode to "Toggle"?

I did the image by making the base image as you did (lets say size of 25px X 50px when exported from knobman) and then took the image into Windows Paint, extended the size to 50x50 and copied the original image into the empty area. See attchment if there is.

Hopefully this is not a duplicate post (did post twice already with attached image but nothing happened).

- create on/off button in knobman (ex. 25 X 25 px)

- resize (to 50 X 50 px) the image and duplicate the original

For me it worked this way:
- create on/off button in knobman (ex. 25 X 25 px)
- export it as an image (now 25 X 50 px)
- resize (to 50 X 50 px) the image and duplicate the original
- select "toggle" type in picctrl
