JS midifile player in browser for RNBO

Dear forum, I am building a project with RNBO for the web and I'm trying to work out the best way to load and play midifiles that will stream midi into my RNBO project.

Being a total JS noob, I'm wondering if someone con reccommend the most easily hackable js-based midi player that works in most browsers that will just play the midi (or tonejs json file) that is then relatively straightforward to hook up to the RNBO world in the browser?

Has anyone out there attempted this yet or got any wisdom they would be prepared to share?
