jumping loop with groove~ (lock and followglobaltempo)

I am trying to have a patch where the user can select the section of the buffer to loop with groove~ and then play that loop back in sync with other loops following a global tempo.

It works mostly, but jumps back to the beginning of the loop every so often - I suspect it has to do with the buffer length, regardless of the set loop.

Any ideas on how to fix this?

Cheers

Bump on this - and zooming out. Perhaps there is another way to go about this.

Any advice on a strategy to:

1.) have 8 independent loops playing (with varying different original tempos)
2.) follow the global transport tempo (currently using groove~ and followglobaltempo 1)
3.) allow for sections of loop to be selected by the user (perhaps only a few bars of the loop)
4.) after all this - still play in sync together (currently using groove~ following the global tempo and using lock 1)

Cheers

Hi there,

I am encountering the same loop jump problem. Did you find out how to solve it?

Thanks!
