jweb scale or extract specific area
Hi everyone, is there a way to pick out a certain area in jweb, such as a specific rectangle? I don't jit. desktop can do this as it cant be scaled to a different location (or screen location). Is there anyway I can use a jitter object to grab a part of that jweb window and create a new video?
P.S. essentially, I'd like too grab the video of a youtube page minus everything else into max as a video and for me jit.desktop isn't an option as i need to work in max.
Bests

Sorry to keep bugging everyone with this but I have been doing some workaround work and the only solution I could come to was to was to use jweb and then capture that via jit.desktop and then use jit.rota to pick out a specific area of the desktop window. The only problem is, everything just dies when the jit.desktop object appears - must be a cpu thing but the videos in the jweb youtube wont play.... ugh
patch is below, if any one can think of a solution that would be cool - I would hope to get like 2 or three videos at once and unfortuntately this youtube mixer wont work now due to youtube changing their set up to stop theft etc (thread - https://cycling74.com/forums/youtube-mixer)
Anyone?
How is the playback/recording with jit.desktop if you use a regular browser rather than jweb? Maybe try it if you haven't. I get OK results here on a slow laptop, but the jit.desktop is a small resolution. It actually is smoother if I use qmetro 40 rather than 20 (like in the help file) because things don't get bottlenecked, it seems.
I'd be curious if there are any optimization tricks for jit.desktop out there---any settings besides fps and resolution that will speed things up?
