my GUI max external receives keyboard notifications with the "key" Max message. it works fine in Max, but when it is placed in the main patch of a Max For Live device, it stops receiving keyboard notifications. However, if I place it in a floating window, opened from the main patch, it receives the keyboard notifications without any problems.

Does anyone have an idea how to grab focus in my external and solve this problem?
