I'm trying to get LED feed back to my launchpad through Max, can anyone help with what I have...

Use stripnote to prevent that releasing the button on launchpad sends a note-off message. Handle the on / off states in max.

I want the release note message. I want the LEDs to do what is happening on screen.

Besides the point, my launchpad is not lighting up at all with your patch.

Did you take a look at the patches made for Max on the Novation website ?
