Hi Denis,

I use Geco. It works ok, though it's not difficult to confuse it (or maybe it's the Motion that gets confused). But it's still very usable and fun to use.

I use Geco as well. the main problem I have with it is that it seems to have some trouble detecting which hand I'm using. but apart from that it's great for what it does.

Geco for me too - easy to use
perhaps not quite as many options for gestures as some other software but plenty to be very useful.

I also think the detection/precision are limitations of the leap motion hardware
(its a reason I think only using a limited number of reliable gestures rather than too many which can get confused is a good thing)

Thanks very very much for your messages.

It would seem that Aero MIDI adresses MIDI data thought GECO adresse OSC data.... have you any information about that please ?

Thanks again
Have a nice week
Denis

Just got updated!
20140922 -UPDATE
-Complete revolution, first of all - Absolutely - NO-MORE-MEMORY-ISSUE.
-The tcpigola max patches are now independent from leapmotion, they can be used for ANY JSON OBJECT
-dict approach - a bit slower but stable- great for unpredictable JSON objects and where you cannot predict the fields you will be interested in reading, also very good for integrating with preexisting dict based systems.
-props approach - very fast - select exacly the fields you want and have them outputted as an array, then you can do whatever you want .. for example unpack it.

HI there. i do use leap motion with max 7 and windows 64bit + ableton live 9.5 .
In my opinion Geko is a bit oldy, the code is based on V1 of Leap motion so thats why is laggy.
Aeromidi is really crappy also...
Best i have found is TekhTonik from ehtno tehk people. An amazing device that works as a standalone.
Other wise as said you could use the ircam externals for windows and leap motion and do the patching for your needs .

this thread itself is a bit old :) i use leapformax, it has some more features (not a lot) than the ircam external, which is indeed simpler to install and use.
