Ligeti
i thought this visual score for a Ligeti electronic piece (Artikulation) would be of interest to the community. Reminds me of the Stockhausen piece within max/msp folders, but more in depth and complex.
Can something like this be done in Jitter (i don't own Jitter, so i don't know the full workings of it... just curious). Being a illiterate musician myself, i often thought of ways to score electronic music sans notes so others may be able to perform my compositions.
Enjoy!

First sorry not to answer your question at all (haven't used Jitter
myself).
I believe this is the original score drawn by Ligeti himself (someone
please correct me if I'm wrong!).
Just to point out that this is a listening score. It's not by any
means prescriptive but descriptive - i.e. not meant for performance
or reproduction of the piece. For me the best way to go about doing
listening scores is by hand. But there is the acousmographe from GRM
(windows only) created specifically to do such a job. Check it out,
they're developing the OS X version at the moment I think.

Ahh, yes, pardon me - I did not catch the distinction. I also agree that it is a significant difference. I'd love to hear more about what you're up to in this area.

I am sure it is possible to make , this is something I have been wondering for a while now ,
I am not a jitter user but I always have the idea that nothing is impossble in max/msp jiter ect...
+ the Stockhausen etude patch in Max kind of reminds me of this ,
