You are invited to participate in an online study, "Listening to Live Laptop Music". The study is being conducted at the Design Lab, The University of Sydney, by Dr Oliver Bown, Renick Bell (Tama Art University) and Dr Adam Parkinson (Goldsmiths, University of London).

The purpose of the study is to investigate what a listener perceives about a laptop music performance only through listening: what the music itself conveys about how it was performed.

During the study you will be presented with three two minute excerpts from laptop performances and asked questions about how you think the performance was created. You have the option of continuing to respond to more excerpts if you want. The study should take no longer than 10 minutes and your responses will be anonymous. You can withdraw at any time prior to completing responses to the three excerpts.

A participation information statement is available form the survey website.

Please follow the link to complete the survey: https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/2BWKSYD
Please help us by forwarding to others who may be interested in participating.

Thank you.

Quite a variety of ways. I can't post otherwise this would invalidate the survey, plus we haven't written up this info yet. But it will be published sometime this year.
