Listing files in a directory

Hello,

Rather new to max so this may be very simple. I simply want to take my path i get from open dialogue and then list the files present in the directory. I can get the infromation when i put it ino the umenu object but i want it in a simple list form that i can use to automatically fill a series of buffers.

One way to fill multiple buffers (which is my end purpose) i have seen is to use the umen and cycle object https://cycling74.com/forums/groove-jumps-and-multiple-buffer-feeds but this requires the user to cleck each file for it be loaded into the seperate buffer. Im looking for a way to automatically do this.
