live.dial doesn't show on Push 2 display...
Hello.
Sorry if this is a newbie (which I am, indeed) question, or if this has been answered before (I made several searches on this forum an Google but didn't find any valid answer), but...
I'm trying to create a Max for Live MIDI editor for a Roland Boutique D-05, and I would like the live.dial objects I use to appear on my Ableton Push 2 display... how can I do it? I tried different things, but still get a "No parameter mapped" message on the Push display.
Any help will be appreciated.
Thank you for your answers!
hello,
i don't know what version of max you are using but in the last one , max 8, there is a new object called live.banks that allow easy automation with push 2.
Maybe you should check also in the inspector window if the live.dial is not declared hidden.
hope that will help you.
Thank you for your answer. I'm on Live 10 with Max 8 beta.
I will investigate on this live.banks object!
BTW, there seems to be a known issue about the live.dial not appearing on the Push 2 display : https://cycling74.com/forums/live·dial-not-visible-in-device-live-10-max-8
Hope this will be solved soon!
I just found out myself that it's a known bug. In the meantime, live.banks can help.
