Hey y'all

I'm using the Live LOM reference to try and access in Max the functionality of the big red "Record" button on the Ableton Push. Basically this button begins--in the Push's track--a new MIDI clip recording in the next available clip in Live's session view, or will begin overdubbing if a clip is currently playing. I want to access this functionality this with a footcontroler though Max. Any idea of how to achieve this? I don't see any leads in the LOM reference.
