I am using live.grid (connected to a matrixctrl/preset combination) instead of live.step for a multitrack pattern-based drum instrument,

It looks better and consumes less space than live.step.

Is there a way to copy & paste step data as in live.step? Like marking steps 1-4, then paste on 5-8 etc.?

Thanx for any insights. Alternate methods, which are as easy to implement and look as nice as live.step are welcome.
